Sunday was pretty great. My feet are tired, and my hair hurts (say wha?) but over all yesterday was relaxing and great and everything I could have wanted. I didn't get to see everyone we were hoping to, but we saw a good majority and made a lot of new friends.

I really focused on my emotions and feelings this Dapper Day. I know that sounds so silly, but in Dapper Day's past, I was so busy trying to keep up with other people and not get left behind that I wore myself out and ended up not having as good a time as I could have. I wanted to be more in-tune with where I was at emotionally and conserve my social energy.
So this time, we did it a little differently.
We got a hotel nearby with some friends. Because we had all been up late the night before playing board games, we decided to let ourselves sleep in. Dapper Day wasn't going anywhere and we weren't in a crazy rush. We'd get there when we were ready to.
Our hotel had a breakfast, so we woke up and helped ourselves.

Gotta say, as far as free breakfasts go, this one wasn't bad. We spent the next hour or so chatting, doing hair and makeup, and generally not rushing.
When we got to the park, we headed to California Adventure to find a mail box to send out some very special letters.

We mailed out our thank you cards from our wedding! Hooray!! (Thank you so so much for Tiff for this pic)
Adam and I were on a mission! Experience all the Pixar Fest things!!! To kick it off- a ride on Toy Story Mania! We all walked to the very end of the pier, where we rode the last open ride on the pier.

I had my heart set on eating a little green alien or two, so we made that dream come true over at (Red Rockett's) (Alien) Pizza Port!

Look how cute these treats are!!

The colors just POP against that table! The parfait has a pudding on top, berry filling, and cake on the bottom. They were absolutely delicious and tasted exactly how I wanted them to. Color me pleased. We opted to go back to California Adventure, after parting ways with our friends to meet back up again later. But on our way, we ran into another friend of ours! Star! She took these (Thank you, Star!!):
After that, we set out to find more Pixar Fest! Not really sure what that meant, we wandered over to the other side of the boardwalk In California Adventure for a possible character meet and greet. We decided to just pose in front of the Pixar Pier Construction wall instead. HUGE thanks to Britney for taking these pics of us together. I love them so much!
OK, we stopped by the characters meet and greet area too because LOOK HOW AMAZING THIS BG IS!
After that we met up with some friends to unwind and chat. I couldn't resist this colorful concoction! I love when my drink matches me:

We ran into some other friends in Carsland. It was so hot, we were so thankful for the Bris (GET IT,BRIS!?!?)

Aren't Kit and Brianna cuuuuute?? They were bounding Heimlich and his watermelon:

I had put on my separate top piece by now and my dress looked so cute in front of Flo's! so we took a few more pics (bonus seam shot/DJ's Dance 'n Drive Dancers photos bomb!)
And of course, Woody was in his element:
And then a wild Dani appeared!!!! I haven't seen Dani since I was working in Florida at Disney World. It was so nice to stop and chat with her for a few. I'm missed her so!!! Isn't she just adorable??
Anyway, after that, we decided that we needed to take advantage of our MaxPass more, so here are at LEAST $10 worth of photos:
By now, the neons had turned on in Carsland, so I wanted to go see them! When what do you know, we ran into James and Lizzy!! They were so cute in their Mike and Celia bounds! James asked us to pose for his camera and took some of the most beautiful pics I've ever SEEN! Thank you so much, James! Look at these
Sorry for the long post, but this was just such a wonderful Dapper Day and we saw so many beautiful people and wonderful friends! This Dapper Day weekend was really one for the books.
