Another wedding post say what, say what?! It's true!! And this is one I've really been looking forward to writing. It's all about the BRIDESMAID DRESSES!

These dresses were imagined by me and designed by David. My wedding was a vintage glam affair, so I wanted their dresses to be vintage-inspired/recreations.

But even more then that, each of the girls I asked are very different. And I am probably one of the most indecisive people you'll ever meet and the idea of pairing the colors down to one or two was...too much for me. There's no way I wanted any of my bridesmaids to wear a color that they didn't feel good in. That's when I realized that I didn't HAVE to keep it one color. They're all so different, it didn't make sense to shove them all in the same color dress. Each girl put on a dress inspired by a different Disney character that they had some sort of connection to, and each one was in a color that I've seen them wear/thought they would look good in. And together, they all created a colorful Golden Afternoon pallet that I was hoping for.

Erika was glamorous in green for my favorite princess, Tiana. The character she was disneybounding when I first met her, in fact, it's why we became friends in the first place! Erika is hard-working, driven, supportive, and down-to-earth, just like Tiana.

Leslie looked stunning in pink for another one of my princess favs, Aurora. I chose pink for her because of a disneybound group she did a while back with a strong women's right's message. It's one that I've associated with her ever since. In addition, she's kind, soft-hearted, and loving, all things I associate with Aurora.

Stephanie was jaw-dropping in purple for Rapunzel. Her hair has always been long. Growing up with her, that's the one thing you'd have to associate with her. Not to mention she's also a dreamer, creative, curious, and confident- so Rapunzel!

Katie glowed in goldenrod for Jane- from Tarzan. She cosplayed Jane a while back and I was blown away at how fitting it was for her. She's strong, clever, witty, etc. All of the qualities I associate with Jane.

Kayla was inspirational in blue for Cinderella (which happened to be the color she wore when we worked together/met for the first time). Like Cinderella, Kayla it always willing to lend a hand and help out. She emotionally takes care of those she cares about and never lets go of her dreams.

You can already see that so much thought went into what color each girl would wear. The more I thought about it, the stranger it felt that I would changing 3 times, while they stayed in the same dress the whole day. I mean, my wedding was broken up into 3 parts that were very different then the others, so it seemed fitting that they change like I was to match the scenery. So I introduced a new challenge to David! I wanted each of the dresses to transform. So they did! Each girl had three looks that went along with mine.

The first look was for the ceremony. I wanted a vintage wiggle with a sash or "butt cape" that would look classic and beautiful walking down the isle.

For the secondline, I wanted them to be able to dance and really enjoy the music! I didn't want to them to be stifled by the wiggle dress, and I wanted to give them some fabric to play with! SO I had David create full-circle skirts that match so they can play and dance!

For my reception, I put on my third look, which included pants, so the girls removed the skirt for a sleeker, more straight-forward look.

All in all, I was so happy with the way the girls looked in their dresses! Each girl brought something so beautiful and so unique. And a huge thanks to David for creating dresses that were so beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned!
